Launched by Elverado CUSD #196 in 2010, the foundation’s mission is to provide opportunities for students, teachers and district initiatives that otherwise cannot be funded by regular sources, such as scholarships and educational grants for classroom teachers. To date, the foundation has given scholarships to graduating seniors totaling at $38,970.00 and teacher grants totaling $56,147.00.
