SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (EIDL)


The Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (EIDL) provides for additional assistance. This Program will be issued directly through SBA, not Financial Institutions. Apply at https://www.sba.gov/ and follow the instructions on the website.  It will guide you through some qualifying questions and then move you into the application process.

Required Documentation


Beginning April 3, 2020, small businesses and sole proprietorships can apply for and receive loans to cover their payroll and other certain expenses.

Beginning April 10, 2020, independent contractors and self-employed individuals can apply for and receive loans to cover their payroll and other certain expenses.

The Paycheck Protection Program is open for application submission until June 30th, 2020.

It is our current understanding, which is subject to change, the following documentation is required by the Small Business Administration in order to fully process and submit the Paycheck Protection Program application. Further information may be required for future application submissions:

  • 2019 IRS Quarterly 940, 941, or 944 payroll tax reports
  • Payroll Reports for a twelve-month period (beginning with the last payroll date and including the previous twelve months
    • Payroll Report must show the following information for the time period listed above:
      • Gross wages for each employee, including officer(s) if paid W-2 wages
      • Paid Time Off (PTO) for each employee
      • Vacation Pay for each employee
      • Family Medical Leave Pay for each employee
      • State and Local taxes assessed on the employee’s compensation for each employee
  • 1099’s (2019) for independent contractors that would otherwise be an employee of the business
    • 1099’s for services will NOT be included
  • Documentation showing total of all health insurance premiums paid by the company owner(s) under a group health plan
    • Must include all company employees and owners
  • Documentation stating the sum of all retirement plan funding that was paid by the company owner(s) (funding from employee paycheck deferrals NOT included)
    • All employees (including company owners) 401K plans, Simply IRA, SEP IRA’s must be included

It is our understanding that these are the current applications. However, please contact your Murphy-Wall Lender prior to completing the document(s) below. Each one of our loan officers are ready to assist our customers with this process.
