The Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month for March is Chloe Yates. The main organization focus she is involved in is the school newspaper club. Her extra-curricular activities include high school volleyball / club (travel) volleyball. Chloe’s college plans are to study general education at Frontier Community College and play volleyball there. Chloe is pictured receiving her certificate from Murphy-Wall State Bank AVP/New Account Supervisor Jenn Tritschler.
About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month honor at the beginning of the school year. They were asked to submit a 500 word essay with the topic: “What four classes, currently offered at your school or that you wish would be available, do you feel a student should complete before graduating from high school that assists in preparing students for an independent and successful life? And why?” Sixteen applications were submitted, with nine students being selected by a committee of three anonymous members from outside the community. These nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and $1000.
