Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS April Students of the Month – Jimmie Reiman and Kylie Harvey

The Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Students of the Month for April are Jimmie Reiman and Kylie Harvey. Jimmie’s extra-curricular activities include Beta Club, FFA and ACES. Sports and clubs he is involved in include Basketball, Soccer, and Golf. His college plans include attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale to double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. Kylie’s extra-curricular activities include Golf, Archery, Beta Club, ACES, FBLA and Illinois State Scholars. Her college plans are to study to become a pediatric traveling nurse. They are pictured receiving their certificates from Murphy-Wall SVP/Internal Auditor Carrie Trail.
About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500 word essay in application of this honor. Out of eighteen applicants, nine students were selected by a committee of three anonymous members from outside the community. These nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and $1000.
