About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month honor at the beginning of the school year. They were asked to submit up to a 500 word essay in application of this honor. Eighteen applications were submitted, with twelve students being selected by a committee of three anonymous members from outside the community. These twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. Typically one student is selected to receive the honor of Student of the Year. This year three of these twelve students received the honor of Student of the Year and $1,000 each. View Previous Student of the Month Seniors
