Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company Recognizes March Students of the Month
Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company is proud to recognize Margo Dudek and Mandy Partin as its Students of the Month for their academic achievement, leadership, and involvement in school and community activities.
Margo Dudek
Margo plans to further her education in Cyber Security and Network Management at Murray State University. She also has aspirations of attending the FBI Academy in Virginia. Throughout her high school career, Margo has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to excellence by participating in numerous extracurricular activities. Her involvement includes Youth and Government, Art Club, Junior Class Congress, Million Words Club, and Future Farmers of America. Margo’s drive, diverse interests, and dedication to her future goals make her a deserving recipient of this recognition.
Mandy Partin
Also honored as a Student of the Month is Mandy Partin. Mandy plans to attend Southern Illinois University Carbondale to pursue a degree in Law. She has been actively involved in a variety of school and community activities, including PCHS Track, Cross Country, and Beta Club. In addition to her school commitments, Mandy is devoted to giving back to her community and volunteers her time at the local community center. Her strong work ethic, leadership, and community spirit set her apart as an outstanding student.
About the Award
At the start of the school year, PCHS seniors were invited to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month by submitting a personal essay of at least 500 words. From twenty-six applicants, in total 12 students including, Eliza Heisner, Lia Farlow, Arryn Overturf, Mackenna Wesseln, Gavin Helton, Reed Marlow, Tania Onate, Ella Keene, Iris Zheng, Evelyn Zheng, and now Mandy Partin and Margo Dudek will be selected to receive the Student of the Month title along with a $50 award. In the coming weeks, one of these twelve will be named Student of the Year and awarded a $1,000 scholarship, while another will be honored as the President’s Scholar, also receiving a $1,000 scholarship.
