Murphy-Wall State Bank would like to congratulate Kris Kreger and Ava Adcock on being selected as our Murphy-Wall Students of the Month for December!
After high school, Kris plans on completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Rend Lake College and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and then pursuing a Master’s degree to be a Nurse Practitioner at an undecided program. Kris has taken part in many extracurricular activities throughout her high school career such as Cheerleading, Student Council, Youth and Government, and Track.
After high school, Ava plans to continue her athletic and academic career at Kaskaskia Junior College before moving on to a four-year university to major in Business Finance with a minor in Economic Finance. Ava has participated in many extracurriculars during high school such as Beta Club, Student Council, Softball, and Volleyball.

About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month and President’s Scholar honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500-word essay in application of this honor. Out of nineteen applicants, twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and a $1000 scholarship, and one will receive the honor of President’s Scholar and a $1000 scholarship.
