Murphy-Wall State Bank Announces Norah Hagene and Autumn Gulley as the February 2024 Students of the Month

Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company would like to congratulate Norah Hagene and Autumn Gulley on earning the honor of being the Murphy-Wall Students of the Month for February!
After high school, Norah plans on completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville with a minor in Psychology. Ultimately, Norah would like to earn her Master of Arts in Art Therapy Counseling. Norah has enjoyed participating in several extracurricular activities throughout her high school career such as Beta Club, MAPPS (Mentoring and Positive Peer Support), Art Club, and the student section at sporting events.
After high school, Autumn plans to attend the University of Alabama in pursuit of her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in the clinical setting. Autumn has participated in many extracurriculars during high school such as Beta Club, Band, MAPPS, and Softball.

About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month and President’s Scholar honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500-word essay in application of this honor. Out of nineteen applicants, twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and a $1000 scholarship, and one will receive the honor of President’s Scholar and a $1000 scholarship.
