Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company would like to congratulate Caleb Russell on earning the honor of being the Murphy-Wall Student of the Month for March!
After high school, Caleb plans on attending Rend Lake College to earn his pharmacy technician certificate then continue on in their pre-pharmacy program. After that, Caleb plans on transferring to Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville to finish degree requirements to become a pharmacist. Caleb has enjoyed participating in several extracurricular activities throughout his high school career such as earning his Eagle Scout rank with the Boy Scouts of America, Band, BETA Club, and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).

About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month and President’s Scholar honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500-word essay in application of this honor. Out of nineteen applicants, twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these twelve students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and a $1000 scholarship, and one will receive the honor of President’s Scholar and a $1000 scholarship.
