2018 Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Year

Selection for Murphy-Wall State Bank’s 2018 began in September of last year. Seniors applied for the honor by submitting a 500 word essay with the topic: “Describe leadership and how you have demonstrated leadership ability in your school, work and community”; along with their high school activities.
Nine students of the Month are selected by a committee of three anonymous members. Each student of the month receives $50 from Murphy-Wall State Bank. These students were: Stephen Wagner-September, Sydney Caccioppo-October, Hannah Epplin-November, Shania Opp-December, Madison Garavaglia-January, Justin Keller-February, Megan Mayo-March, Abigail West-April and Ryan Brueggemann-May.
The student of the Year is chosen after an interviewing process with various officers of the bank and individual points scored in pre-determined categories. This year’s Murphy-Wall State Bank’s 2018 PCHS Student of the Year is Megan Mayo. The Student of the Year receives $500 from Murphy-Wall State Bank. Murphy-Wall State Bank would like to congratulate the 2017-2018 students of the month and all the PCHS 2018 graduates.
