Murphy-Wall State Bank Supports Elverado Fishing Team
Elverado Fishing Coach Jason Buser accepts a donation to go towards funding the purchase of twelve new jerseys for the Elverado Bass Fishing Team, recently presented by Murphy-Wall State Bank Elkville Branch Manager Julie Briley.

Throughout this decade, schools around the nation have seen a rising tide of students getting increasingly hooked on the sport of fishing. The Elverado Falcons are no exception. Buser reported this is the fifth year for the fishing program at the school. With ten students currently participating, along with himself and Alan Crombar, assistant coach, Buser anticipates the jerseys will give the team a “uniform look.”
Buser said the bass fishing team is preparing for a tournament coming up on March 22, and is excited about the sectionals and finals soon to follow.
