Murphy Wall State Bank donates to The Least of the Brethren Food Pantry

Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company has named The Least of the Brethren Food Pantry as a recipient of $500.00 donation raised through the bank’s 2020 Jean Day Program. Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company President Marty Davis presents the contribution with some of the other participants of their 2020 Jean Day Program at the Pinckneyville location, accepted on behalf of the pantry by Least of the Brethren Food Pantry President George Culley. The Least of the Brethren Ministry is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, founded in 1997 and consists of a down-home atmosphere church and reaches out with efforts to help feed the hungry.

 

Murphy-Wall employees wishing to wear jeans on Fridays during the year may do so when they elect to authorize a payroll deduction of a certain amount each pay period. At the end of the year, a portion of the funds go back to designated charitable organizations.
