Murphy-Wall State Bank Donates to Elkville Christian Church Food Pantry

Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company employees recently donated $300.00 to the Elkville Christian Church Food Pantry, raised through the bank’s 2020 Jean Day Program. Murphy-Wall State Bank Elkville Branch Manager Julie Briley is pictured presenting a check to Donna Waller, accepting on behalf of the pantry.
The Elkville Christian Church Food Pantry offers non-perishable food items to families living in the area of Elverado Community Unit School District #196. Located at 114 S. 2nd Street in Elkville, view their Facebook page for updates. Those with questions may call the church office.
Murphy-Wall employees wishing to wear jeans on Fridays during the year may do so when they elect to authorize a payroll deduction of a certain amount each pay period. At the end of the year, a portion of the funds go back to designated charitable organizations.
