Robinson Awarded Murphy-Wall/JALC Scholarship

Jenna Denee Robinson, a recent graduate of Elverado High School was awarded the Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company / John A Logan College Scholarship at the school’s awards night on May 14. This scholarship is awarded to a student who will be studying business at John A. Logan College. She is pictured receiving her certificate from Murphy-Wall State Bank President and CEO Marty Davis.
The JALC Foundation provides scholarships for students pursuing their dreams of an education. Each year the Foundation awards and administers more than 600 scholarships totaling nearly $1.5 million. Through the generosity of their donors, the Foundation has helped build new facilities, purchase computers for classrooms, replace equipment, buy interactive software for students, and award scholarships, which help students pay for tuition, books and other expenses.
