The Murphy-Wall PCHS Student of the Month for January 2022 is Carsyn Cowley. Extra-Curricular activities she is involved in include BETA Club, Student Council, FBLA, Pep Club, Green Team, and helping in the afternoons at the grade school. Carsyn mentioned the sports she has been involved in are volleyball and cross country. She plans to attend Mizzou and major in business and marketing. Carsyn is pictured with Murphy-Wall Vice President/Lending Officer Candice Knight.
About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500 word essay in application of this honor. Out of eighteen applicants, nine students were selected by a committee of three anonymous members from outside the community. These nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and $1000.
