Students of the Month – Molly Doerflein and Cheyanne Pauley

The Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Students of the Month for March are Molly Doerflein and Cheyanne Pauley. Both of these young ladies are involved in Beta Club. Molly is also in Band, Jazz Band, as well as Track and Field. Cheyanne takes part in Softball, Basketball, and FBLA. For her college plans, Molly plans to either go to Ball State or the University of Arkansas and major in Accounting to become a Financial Controller. Cheyanne plans to attend the University of Illinois to earn a degree in Atmospheric Science. They are pictured receiving their certificates from Murphy-Wall EVP/Operations Manager Brian Chandler.
About the Award
PCHS Seniors were given the opportunity to apply for the Murphy-Wall State Bank PCHS Student of the Month honor at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to submit up to a 500 word essay in application of this honor. Out of eighteen applicants, nine students were selected by a committee of three anonymous members from outside the community. These nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Month and $50. One of these nine students will receive the honor of Student of the Year and $1000.
